The 9th Angkor Ultra Trail Day (AUT) took place in a joyful atmosphere on January 24, 2026. Although many athletes had to spend many hours to complete the long-distance running event, especially the 100-kilometer run, the participants all showed joy with the wonderful experience of running through obstacles in the wonderful land of Angkor.

According to the report of the organizing commission of this adventure tourism event, there were a total of 1,740 national and international athletes from 52 countries, with the most participating athletes from Cambodia, France, England, the United States and Vietnam, running in 6 events including 8 kilometers, 18 kilometers, 32 kilometers, 42 kilometers, 64 kilometers and 100 kilometers.

It should be noted that, the 9th Angkor Ultra Trail Day was established in 2016 under the collaboration between the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) and Phonenix Voyages, with the support of relevant ministries and institutions, with the aim of urging the promotion and development of sports, promoting and increasing informal economic development, improving the environment of heritage sites, attracting tourists, and supporting humanitarian projects, etc.
