It has been 8 years since male athlete Ten Vandet has been training in gymnastics and has selected to be in the Cambodia national team and has been participating in the competitions on the international stage.
The 2025 National Artistic Gymnastics gold medalist said that, he was interested in gymnastics after his father, who was also a former athlete, so he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father in this sport.
The athlete, who originally from Kampong Tralach district, Kampong Chhnang province, also claims that gymnastics has allowed him to bring honor to his family and the country by winning many medals both locally and internationally.
The 12th grade student has reminded that, before he has achieved the results he has gone through many difficulties, especially in training to adapt, but his hard work has helped him overcome obstacles. He said that in the future, if he has enough time, he wants to contribute to training the next generation of young people.
