The national fencing female athletes Phat Lyka, Men Monica
and Hay Srey Sros said that, they have been working hard to prepare for the
upcoming 2025 SEA Games.
The three female athletes said that, they have increased
their training significantly. In fact, they have added 4 hours more of training
time to improve their skills. The three emphasized that they will do their best
and that even if they do not win a medal, they will still be able to achieve
good results.
Relating to the participation of the Cambodia national
fencing team in the 2025 SEA Games, Mr. Din Sophal, the coach, said that there
are 6 athletes will participate, including 1 male and 5 female athletes. He
hopes that the team will do well and can compete for medals back home.
Both the coach and athletes have also committed to respect
the principles that Cambodia has prepared for safety and maintain good
discipline in participating in the SEA Games.
