Former volleyball female athlete Van Borey appears herself again at the SEA Games, this time in Taekwondo WT

After appearing as a member of the women’s national volleyball team of Cambodia at the 2023 SEA Games, when Cambodia hosted the event, but this time a female athlete Van Borey has gotten the new opportunity again, but this time as a member of the Cambodia Taekwondo WT team, to participate in the SEA Games in Thailand.

The young woman, who is from Ang Snoul district, Kandal province, will compete in the -67kg weight category. She said she has felt a little nervous because this is her first appearance in Taekwondo WT at the SEA Games, but she said she would do all her best.Uploaded image

Because of had played volleyball at the high school level and have had the good skills, Van Borey was selected for the women’s national volleyball team in 2022 to prepare for the 2023 SEA Games. But after the end of that campaign, she returned to train Taekwondo WT and had the opportunity to be selected for the national team to compete abroad, having recently competed in the World University Games in Germany and Vietnam.

The female Athlete Van Borey asked for support from the Cambodian people for her upcoming competition. She also encouraged the public to participate in more sports for good health and a strong body, and especially Taekwondo provides many benefits for health.
