The president of the Cambodia Boxing Federation, H.E. Buy Sophoan, said that: This is the first time for the Cambodia Boxing Federation and can also be said that to be history, because Cambodia boxing athletes have never participated before. This first participation is the vision and main direction of the Cambodia Boxing Federation to strengthen the qualifications of athletes as well as provide opportunities for athletes to participate in world-class competitions to gain experience, techniques, and learn about the level of equality of world-class athletes, because the Cambodia Boxing Federation wants to strengthen the athletes’ capabilities to be more potential by participating in more competitions as preparation for major events at the Asian level in 2026.
