Cambodia Triathlon Received the Olympic Solidarity Coaching Course on Triathlon Level 1 from International Experts

With receiving the support of the Olympic Solidarity Organization and the coordination of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), on October 1, the Cambodia Triathlon Federation organized the Olympic Solidarity Coaching Course on triathlon Level 1 for 25 participants at the NOCC headquarters, with the participation of teaching and sharing knowledge directly from international experts from the World Triathlon Federation.

Mr. Ngin Sopanha, Secretary General of the Cambodia Triathlon Federation, said that this Level 1 coaching course will last for 5 days from October 1-5. Among the 25 participants, there are also 5 coach trainees from the Vietnam Triathlon Federation, which is the development partner, who participated in this course. The instructors are experts from the World Triathlon Federation, including Mr. Lozada Antony from the Philippines and Ms. Pham Thuy Vi from Vietnam.

The Secretary General continued that, this course is truly important and different from previous courses, as there are international instructors who will teach directly, which is an opportunity for all participants to learn new knowledge about international rules and regulations to contribute to the training of human resources towards the development and expansion of the potential of triathlon in Cambodia, especially the training of young athletes in preparation for hosting the 2029 Asian Youth Games.
