The Leaders of Cambodia Boxing Federation Instructed Coaches to be Creative More Lessons for Athletes

Participants who are coaches and athletes, as well as Cambodia national boxing athletes, completed the national level coaching training course on Friday afternoon, December 19, 2025, at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.

Mr. Reach Sophen, Vice President of the Cambodia Boxing Federation, representing H.E. Buy Sophoan, President of the Federation, highly appreciated the attention of the participants, some of whom are not professional boxers, but can learn good lessons from the instructors to develop themselves to be a professional level.

Meanwhile, Mr. Vice President of the Federation has instructed all coaches to work hard to create lessons, especially to separate the techniques shared in this training course, and use them to train their athletes to be better.

Mr. Russell Stutely, the instructor of the course, urged all athletes to maintain their professionalism and work hard in training, and the coaches must took these lessons and techniques from this training course to continue training their athletes.

It should note that, the Cambodia Boxing Federation will organize the event of the 2025 National Championship from December 23 to 26 at the hall of Royal University of Phnom Penh.

H.E. Buy Sophoan, President of the Cambodia Boxing Federation, confirmed that what is more important than organizing the competition is that the federation has established the fund to help the Cambodian military heroes and refugees who suffered from the unjust invasion by Thailand. In addition, the federation has put up the federation’s shirts for sale to the public, and there will also be sales on the day of the competition. The funds received will be transferred to the fund for the Cambodian military heroes and refugees.
