Phnom Penh: The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia organized a “Sports for All Forum” in Kep province for 2 days to promote Olympic values, with more than 700 students participating in learning, exploring, and playing sports for fun.


The advisor to the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), H.E. Buy Sophoan, said that: The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia organized a Sports for All Day (Sport for All 2025-One Youth, One Sport for Life) for 2 days from November 27-28, 2025. The forum showcased Olympic values, Olympic philosophy, and the evolution of Olympic sports from ancient times to the modern Olympics. At the same time, the government’s slogan of “One youth play one sport for life” was also promoted.

Mr. Chherm Narong, Director of the Youth and Sports Office of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Kep Province, expressed his pleasure at the cooperation with the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, which organized the Sports Day for All for two days in Kep Province.


The importance of this organization has enabled students to learn about Olympic values, as well as provide opportunities for students to participate in sports, in line with the key recommendation of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, that every citizen should know how to play one sport every day of their lives. He added that this event has also provided many benefits in reflecting the progress of Cambodia’s sports sector.

At the same time, female student Khut Sreynit, a student in grade 11D of Hun Sen Chamkar Doung High School in Kep Province, expressed her pleasure at learning about Olympic values ​​and participating in sports for health in the Sports Day for All. Sreynit added that playing sports will help us to get healthy, as well as build friendship, solidarity, and good relationships with each other. Sreynit has played football, basketball and bowling in the past, and the young student from Kep province claims that basketball is not only her passion for playing for health, but also wants to play well.

Please confirm that, on the first day, November 27, there are more than 200 students attended a presentation on the content of Olympic values ​​and the history of the development of Olympic sports at the Kep Provincial Youth and Sports Department. While on the second day, November 28, there were actual sports activities at the Kep Provincial Stadium, with more than 500 students participating in many sports activities such as football, volleyball, badminton and tug-of-war.
