Pen Kak Yasin to face Pich Atitep in the 57kg category

Facing two fighters that Kun Khmer fans have been wanting to see clashing each other in the ring for a long time to find the true champion in the 57kg category were officially announced by Neak Oknha Sam Ang Vathanak, Director General of Vattanac Brewery, last weekend that the player Pich Atitep and Pen Kak Yasin will face in the ring on national television in the future, but the exact date has not been announced yet.

The competition between the two strong Kun Khmer fighters in the 57kg category was agreed upon after many Kun Khmer fans have posted requests to see the two champion’s fight.


Neak Oknha Sam Ang Vathanak, who made the fans’ dreams come true, said that the fight between Pich Atitep and Pen Kak Yasin, the arrangement of prize money and the big fight, were all in accordance with the requests of the Kun Khmer fans. The Neak Oknha hopes that the exciting competition between Pich Atitep and Pen Kak Yasin, organized by National Television and supported by Vattanac Brewery, will contribute to the development of the Kun Khmer Sector to be best, especially to encourage the Kun Khmer players to continue to train hard to strengthen their skills and become potential players to receive opportunities to compete for big prizes.

These two strong fighters are all Kun Khmer players who are on the rise, having defeated their opponents to win belts and big prizes in succession. In fact, Pich Atitep just won the gold nugget in a competing program on January 24, defeating player Him Kim Rieng in the second round and then defeated player Khem Chan in the first round in the final match. In particular, turning to see the foreign player Pen Kak Yasin, a student of coach Sen Bunthen, recently won the belt and a prize of $10,000 by defeating player Bun Sothea on points on January 7, 2026 recently.
