The 2025 Olympic Values ​​Education Program of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) has successfully completed after two weeks along many schools in Phnom Penh, Kandal Province, Kampong Speu Province, Kampong Chhnang Province, and Preah Sihanouk Province.

H.E. Buy Sophoan, NOCC Advisor and is a speaker of the program, said that this year, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia has organized the Olympic Values ​​Education Programs in nearly 10 schools across the five capitals and provinces, with a total of 2,000 students participating, including the last program which has held at the General Knowledge and Technical High School in Preah Sihanouk province in the evening of December 18.

ឆ្Through the organization of this annual program, His Excellency has highly appreciated the understanding of all students who have thoroughly understood about the history of the Olympic Movement and Olympic Values, which have existed since nearly 3,000 years ago until the present, especially they have understood another thing about the important aspect of the Olympic Movement, which is the ceasefire in the sports movement, in order to build a beautiful and peaceful world through sports.

In addition, H.E. Buy Sophoan has also highlighted about the spirit of remembering of the great success of the 2023 SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia, which all students have understood a lot about this great historical success. In connection with this, His Excellency also promoted to students as well as young people of another great event that is the preparation to host the Asian Youth Games in 2031 in Cambodia.

By understanding of the core values ​​including: excellence, friendship, respect, and the Olympic motto of faster, higher, stronger, with these, His Excellency hopes that all students will participate in practicing and spreading out of this knowledge to their friends in participating in general sports activities to improve their health, as well as create friendship, solidarity, and improve their studies better.

Meanwhile, Mr. Touch Kongkea, Deputy Director of the General Knowledge and Technical High School of Preah Sihanouk province, expressed his joy after receiving the promotion and Olympic values education, because this is the first time that the school has received an educational program related to sports movement. He expects that this program is not only to raise awareness of the benefits of sports, but he also hopes that it will become a driving force to encourage students to participate playing more sports to improve the health and spirit of studying of all students.

With the success of the organization of the 2025 Olympic Values ​​Education Program, on behalf of the head of the organizing team and representative of the NOCC leaders, H.E. Buy Sophoan has also thanked to the heads of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports and all schools who participated in organizing and cooperating to make this program run smoothly and successfully. His Excellency hopes that all students will continue to participate in the campaign to participate in playing sports for health, friendship, and solidarity, in line with the campaign that every citizen must play at least one sport in their lifetime.
