Cambodia will host the World Kun Khmer Championship in Sihanoukville later this year

Preah Sihanouk Province: On November 17, 2025, H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, led a meeting with the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration to prepare for the World Kun Khmer Championship, which is scheduled to be held from December 17-20, 2025.

The event will have 28 countries and delegates participating that have confirmed their participation and may increase to more than 30 countries from Asia, Europe, America, Oceania and Africa. Meanwhile, this event is organized under the support of the Royal Government, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.

This is another great historical event for the International Kun Khmer Federation in organizing the world event with great potential and scope that has occurred in the era of Peace Techo at this time.

For the competition program is planned to hold an opening ceremony on December 17, 2025, accompanied by performances of traditional Khmer dance, music and ancient martial arts demonstration, as well as volunteer competitions, adult qualifiers and high-level professional competitions for the World Kun Khmer Championship, 2 pairs each day (a total of 8 pairs), with 8 top Cambodian players competing against high-level professional players from various countries.
