Mr. Thun Sophea says if Um Sreypenh competes with such high confidence, she will have more hope for the finals

Mr. Thun Sophea, the coach of the Kun Khmer Academy, praised the will and confident competition of Um Sreypenh in the competition in which she defeated an Iranian player on Friday, October 24, to advance to the semi-finals of the Kun Khmer Competition at the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain.

The coach, a former best Kun Khmer Player, emphasized that Sreypenh believes in herself and competes without fear. He said that if she can do this again in the semi-finals, she can hope to advance to the finals. He expects 60 percent that his student can do it.

Regarding the results of the other players in the team, Mr. Thun Sophea still praised their will and hard work, even though some players did not get satisfactory results. He said that they did well, and in yesterday's competition they also met some difficulties, especially related to their height, which made it difficult for the players to fight.

Therefore, Cambodia has two Kun Khmer fighters who have advanced to the semi-finals of Kun Khmer of the Asian Youth Games, such as players Thon Chanthou and player Um Sreypenh, who will compete on Saturday, October 25.
